Wear a bigger conversation™ — and know what you're buying.
Controversial T-shirts sells expressive apparel. Some designs are satirical, political, blunt, crude, or intentionally provocative. That is the point of the brand.
Please read this before you buy:
1. Opinions, not instructions
Designs express opinions, jokes, parody, satire, or cultural commentary. They are not instructions to harm anyone, commit crimes, or discriminate.
2. No endorsement
Unless we clearly say otherwise, designs do not claim endorsement by any celebrity, politician, brand, team, party, or organization. Names or references used in parody/commentary are not affiliation.
3. You might be offended
If a design's message conflicts with your views, do not buy it. Offended feelings alone are not a defect and are not grounds for a return under our Refund Policy.
4. What we will not sell
We do not knowingly sell designs that:
- Attack people based on protected characteristics (such as race, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or age) as hate or dehumanization
- Harass, threaten, or defame a private individual
- Sexualize minors in any way
- Promote illegal violence, terrorism, or self-harm
- Use unlicensed logos, characters, or a real person's likeness as the product's main draw
If you believe a listing crosses those lines, email contact@controversialtshirts.com with the product URL and details. We review reports and may remove listings.
5. Platforms & partners
Listings must also satisfy Shopify, our fulfillment partners, payment processors, and advertising platforms. A design that is legal to sell may still be restricted in paid ads (especially political/social-issue ads on Meta).
6. Adult audience
Some designs are intended for adults. Parents/guardians are responsible for what minors view or wear.
